Trademarks
According to the Slovenian Industrial Property Act, a trademark is any sign, or any combination of signs, capable of distinguishing the goods or services of one undertaking from those of another undertaking and capable of being graphically represented, in particular words, including personal names, letters, numerals, figurative elements, three dimensional images, including the shape of goods or of their packaging, combination of colours as well as any combination of such signs.
The Slovenian Intellectual Property Office (SIPO)
The SIPO is an autonomous body within the Ministry of the Economy. It is responsible for the field of industrial property and copyright.
The Trade Marks and Designs Registration office of The European Union (OHIM)
OHIM is the European Union agency responsible for registering trade marks and designs that are valid in all 27 member states of the EU.
